It's Wednesday (for a little while longer), and that means In the Works Day here on the blog. This week I'm going to give you a peek into Bonnie's workroom at what she's working on. She and I have been talking about upcycling pairs of jeans into bags and purses and other cool stuff. She's visiting her sister (my really awesome aunt) this week but, being a ClockQuirkian, she brought some work* with her and it paid off. She produced this adorable little bag:
It doesn't have a lining yet and we're talking about the right length for the strap, but to put it lightly, I absolutely LOVE it. One of the hardest things about making stuff to sell is that you want to keep everything. I'm definitely going to need all my will power to let this one go. So cute!
Just in general, Bonnie is on an upcycling roll, getting really excited about making stuff into other stuff. Do you like to upcycle materials and make them new again? Do you have a favorite project? Comment to let us know! We would love to see pictures of your creations.

*I use "work" in the sense that it is productive and fruitful and requires effort. However, our "work" feels more like play. J.M. Barrie (author of "Peter Pan") said "It's only work if you'd rather be doing something else".
